Stopped in for lunch. Ordered a burger and fries and they were delicious. The guy behind the bar had some of the best customer service I've seen in a while. Definitely stop in if you're in the area
Pretty sure it was just a normal burger, and absolutely sure it was precooked and reheated. Small, dry, tasteless, and nothing like every bison burger I've ever had.
When it came time to pay, the bartender/waiter sat down to eat. I mean, not like a quick bite, he had a fork and knife sitting down at the bar to eat. Mind you he and the cook are the only ones working. So we had to bring our money up to him to pay.
Also, super curious about the mystery shot. They have jars on the bar advertising for. If you go still, cause there is no other option if you're that hungry, you should ask about it.
Great ambiance and service. Food OK...good buffalo burger, chicken and cheese balls. Gizzards we're good, too.
....but hey we were hungry and there are no other options when in the Interior of a butthole....
To be fair, the fries and onion petals were super fresh and good!
But hey, gave us a chance to see their fine selection of booze and bar decorations near the front.
Worst service experience ever. Staff @ the bar where you place your order completely ignored us for 10 minutes before taking our order. Then waited 45 min & finally asked when it would be ready. They said it was ready then proceeded to serve the food to a couple that came in 30 min after we did. Paid for our 2 beers (bottles only, they have no draft) and walked out.
Stopped for lunch after the badlands with my Dad. For $31 we got a burger w/ fries, chicken nuggets w/ chips, and two beers. The food was ~$12 and I have no idea how we paid almost $10/beer. No prices advertised. That said, they were nice, food was good, and they have a pool table and other odds and ends for entertainment.
Interior......what a place, Interior of the butthole South Dakota to be exact. Stopped in at the end of our honeymoon road trip with my wife who was hungry for a Bison Burger before head south to go home. Looked like a promising local joint for some authentic bison. Started off well, even though the bartender was drunk, and the local drunk was rambunctious in the middle of the day on Saturday. The cook had "stepped out" and when he came back in we had our food realitivly fast after hearing the microwave open, shut, and beep.
